What has been the most unexpected or memorable moment of your career so far?

Throughout my journey, I have experienced moments that have deeply marked me, experiences that have shaped my essence and my vision of success. But one moment in particular changed everything: the day David Sequeiro called me to offer me the chance to represent Malaga in the upcoming Miss Grand Spain competition.

I remember that call with immense emotion. It was unexpected, but incredibly significant. At that precise moment, I felt that all the effort, dedication, and passion I had invested in this path were truly worth it. More than just an opportunity, it was a gesture of trust, a recognition that deeply touched me. This moment reminded me that true success doesn't always lie in wearing a crown, but in the doors that open when you stay true to yourself. Since then, the support and encouragement I have received from so many people, who see me as a symbol of perseverance, have taught me a powerful lesson: titles may fade, but respect, authenticity, and sincere connections are eternal. Today, I can proudly say that by saying "yes" to Malaga, I also said "yes" to my self-confidence. This journey has opened up unforeseen prospects, allowed me to meet inspiring personalities from the world of beauty and fashion, and enabled me to evolve in a sector I deeply love. Beyond the trophies, what truly lasts is the impact we have, the inspiration we ignite, and the way we leave our mark on the lives of others.

How does your Spanish identity influence your work and your vision of fashion ?

My Spanish identity plays a fundamental role in my perception of fashion and my connection to it. Spain is a country rich in history, culture, and art, and this richness is reflected in my vision of the fashion world. The passion, creativity, and sense of style that define the spanish spirit are deeply rooted in my work, where I always strive to bring something unique and authentic.

Furthermore, my cultural heritage has taught me to value diversity, the beauty of tradition, and how these elements can integrate into contemporary fashion, not only to enhance visuals but also to tell a story. From vibrant colors and traditional fabrics to the influence of flamenco and architecture, every aspect of my culture influences my style and how I choose to communicate through fashion. For me, fashion is not just about aesthetics: it is a powerful way to express who I am, where I come from, and what I represent.

If you could change one thing in the fashion industry, what would it be and why ?

If I could change one thing in the fashion industry, it would be the pressure to conform to physical standards that do not reflect the true diversity of body types. Fashion should be a form of expression and empowerment, not a source of insecurity. I would like to see a more inclusive industry, where everyone feels seen, valued, and represented, regardless of their size, stature, or body shape. Because true beauty lies in authenticity and in how we express who we are, not just in what we wear.

Which spanish places, artists, or traditions inspire you the most?

The whole of spain is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me, but if there's one thing that truly moves me, it's our traditions and cultural roots. Few things move me as much as the sight of a flamenco dress: its bold polka dots, its flowing ruffles, the strength and passion it exudes. The traditional dresses of the Falleras, with their elegance and craftsmanship, seem to me like living jewels of our heritage. Valencia, my beloved homeland, holds a special place in my heart. One of my favorite places in the world is the city of arts and sciences, a space that perfectly embodies the unique contrasts of my homeland: history, modernity, and nature in perfect harmony. It is a place that feeds my imagination and reconnects me to my identity and origins. I fully embrace my andalusian roots. Andalusia is a vibrant land of strength: its art, its history, its landscapes, and its inhabitants exude an indescribable energy, only palpable. And of course, I must mention my dear catalan heritage, which taught me to love Barcelona with all my heart. It is a city that has deeply marked me. The art that permeates every corner, the interaction between its gothic heritage and its modernist spirit: Barcelona is simply magical. Every place, every sight, every detail inspires me and connects me to the deepest part of myself.

If you could write a letter to your younger self, what would you say ?

I would write to her with all the love in the world and tell her: Don't change, even if sometimes they make you believe you should. Don't let anyone dim your light or make you believe you have to fit into molds that were never made for you. Your heart, your sensitivity, your strength, and that unique way you perceive beauty that's your power. Even if you don't see it now, one day you will be grateful for having stayed true to yourself. I would remind her that she is not alone, that even in the most difficult moments, she is forging a courageous, authentic, and radiant version of herself. That comments about her body, her size, or how she is "supposed to be" do not define her worth. That one day, she will walk with her head held high, proud of everything she is, embracing every part of her roots, her history, and her essence. And most importantly, I would tell her to dream big, to embrace every step of the journey with passion... because the best is yet to come.
